Broyhill Patio Dining Set | Outdoor Dining Collections
Our Eagle Brooke collection anchors outdoor gatherings with a 72-inch rectangular table and six cushioned dining chairs. We built this set from powder-coated steel frames paired with hand-woven all-weather wicker that holds its color through seasons of sun exposure.

We engineer every Broyhill patio dining set to withstand regional weather extremes without requiring nightly cover rituals. Our steel frames receive a seven-stage powder coating process that bonds pigment and protective layers at the molecular level, creating a barrier against salt air in coastal regions and humidity in southern climates.

Sizing Your Outdoor Dining Space
Clearance Requirements
A comfortable dining experience requires 36 inches between the table edge and any wall, railing, or obstacle. This allows guests to push chairs back and stand without navigating tight spaces. For sets with swivel chairs, add an extra 6 inches to account for the rotation radius.
Our 48-inch round Ashgrove table fits patios as small as 10 × 10 feet. The rectangular Eagle Brooke set needs at least 12 × 14 feet to accommodate the 72-inch table plus chair clearance. The extending Kingswood table works best on larger patios where you can leave it in the expanded position without crowding walkways.

Cushion Care and Fabric Options
Sets that include cushions come standard with Sunbrella solution-dyed acrylic fabric, where color is locked into the fiber before weaving. This prevents the surface fading common with printed outdoor fabrics. Light-colored cushions show less heat absorption in direct sun—our taupe and sand options remain 15-20 degrees cooler than navy or black.
We design cushion cores from open-cell foam that drains water and dries within hours. The covers feature hidden YKK zippers on three sides for easy removal. Machine wash cushion covers in cold water on gentle cycle, then air dry—never use a dryer, as heat can shrink the fabric and damage the Sunbrella fibers.

Broyhill Patio Dining Set Questions
Our dining chairs are rated for 250 pounds per seat across all collections. Tables support up to 150 pounds of evenly distributed weight, which accommodates serving dishes, centerpieces, and typical dining items. The Kingswood extending table maintains its 150-pound capacity even when fully expanded with the leaf in place. Concentrated weight on table edges should be avoided.
Yes, all our patio dining sets are designed for year-round outdoor use in most climates. Powder-coated steel and cast aluminum frames withstand freezing temperatures and snow without damage. We recommend storing cushions indoors or in a deck box during winter to extend their lifespan. For the Eagle Brooke set, remove the glass tabletop and store it vertically to prevent thermal stress cracks. Wood sets like Kingswood benefit from a breathable furniture cover in regions with freeze-thaw cycles.
Steel sets like Eagle Brooke are heavier and more stable in high wind areas, with frames weighing about 30 percent more than aluminum. The powder coating on steel provides excellent rust protection when maintained properly. Cast aluminum sets like Ashgrove are lighter for easier rearranging and cannot rust since they contain no iron. Aluminum also stays cooler to the touch in direct sun. Both materials offer similar longevity when cared for according to our maintenance guidelines.
No, umbrellas and bases are sold separately. All our dining tables include a center opening sized for standard 1.5-inch to 2-inch umbrella poles. We recommend pairing a 9-foot canopy with tables up to 60 inches and an 11-foot canopy with larger rectangular tables. The umbrella base should weigh at least 50 pounds to prevent tipping. Some customers use weighted water-filled bases for seasonal setups and switch to permanent in-ground mounts for year-round shade.
Remove cushion covers and machine wash in cold water with mild detergent plus one cup of white vinegar, which kills mildew spores. Air dry completely before reinstalling—never use a dryer on Sunbrella fabric. For spot treatment, mix four parts water to one part bleach and spray affected areas, letting it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. The open-cell foam cores can be sprayed with the same solution and rinsed with a hose. Prevent future mildew by storing cushions in a ventilated space during extended rainy periods.
Yes, we offer replacement cushions for all current Broyhill patio dining sets in 12 Sunbrella fabric colors. Cushions are cut specifically for each collection’s chair dimensions and sold individually or in complete set packages. Contact our customer service with your set model number to ensure correct sizing. Most replacement cushions ship within 7-10 business days. Cushions for discontinued collections may be available through our special order program with longer lead times.
All necessary tools are included with your set—typically Allen wrenches and a combination wrench. A second person helps during assembly to hold components in alignment while you insert bolts. While not required, a cordless drill with Allen bits speeds the process significantly for the 40-60 bolts used in a typical 7-piece set. A carpenter’s level ensures proper table stability on uneven surfaces. Budget 60-90 minutes for most dining set configurations.
