Why it works
Materials and construction details

We build every Broyhill Pembrey frame from powder-coated steel tubing designed to resist rust in humid climates. The tan wicker strands are UV-stabilized polyethylene resin, hand-woven over the frame in a tight pattern that sheds water and resists fading. Unlike natural rattan, this synthetic wicker won’t crack or splinter even after years in direct sunlight.

Sectional dimensions and layout options

The left-arm loveseat measures 58 inches wide, the armless center chair spans 29 inches, and the right-arm chaise extends 73 inches deep — total assembled width of 115 inches. Seat height sits at 17 inches with cushions in place, and the backrest rises to 34 inches for full lumbar support. Each seat depth measures 32 inches from front edge to backrest, leaving ample room to sit cross-legged or tuck your feet underneath.

Because the pieces connect with metal brackets rather than permanent joinery, you can reconfigure the layout as your space changes. Swap the chaise to the left side, separate the loveseat for standalone seating, or add additional Pembrey armless chairs (sold separately) to expand the sectional. The modular system adapts to narrow balconies, wraparound patios, or poolside lounging zones. Steel brackets nest into pre-drilled holes on each frame corner and tighten with included hex bolts — no power tools required.

Cushion care and seasonal maintenance
The details

Cushion care and seasonal maintenance

Remove cushion covers every four to six weeks during heavy use and machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Air-dry the covers completely before zipping them back onto the foam inserts — never use a heated dryer, as high temperatures can damage the water-repellent coating. For spot cleaning between washes, blot spills immediately with a damp cloth and let the fabric air-dry.

The wicker frame only needs occasional cleaning with a garden hose or a bucket of soapy water and a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly and let the sectional air-dry before replacing cushions. In regions with harsh winters, we recommend storing cushions indoors and covering the frames with a breathable patio furniture cover. The steel and wicker can technically remain outside year-round, but covered storage extends the lifespan of any outdoor furniture. Inspect frame joints each spring and tighten any brackets that may have loosened during freeze-thaw cycles.

Perfect for our covered patio
We set up the Broyhill Pembrey sectional under our pergola and it’s been our favorite spot all summer. The cushions are thick enough that you don’t feel the frame underneath, and the chaise is long enough for my husband who’s six-foot-three. Assembly took us about an hour working together.

Holds up beautifully in Florida humidity
I was worried about mildew in our coastal climate, but the cushions dry quickly after rain and the wicker hasn’t faded at all. We’ve had this sectional for two years now and it still looks brand new. Worth every penny.

Great quality, just watch the cushion storage
The sectional itself is fantastic — sturdy, comfortable, and looks high-end. My only tip is to bring the cushions in during heavy storms. The fabric is water-resistant but not waterproof, so they’ll stay damp if left out in a downpour. Otherwise no complaints.

Modular design is genius
We rearrange this sectional constantly depending on whether we’re entertaining or just lounging as a family. The brackets make it easy to swap the chaise side or separate pieces entirely. Can’t imagine going back to a fixed outdoor sofa.

Comfortable enough for afternoon naps
I fall asleep on this chaise at least twice a week. The cushions are firm but not hard, and the backrest angle is perfect for reading or watching the sunset. My friends always comment on how nice it looks too.

Best outdoor furniture purchase we’ve made
We shopped around for months and kept coming back to the Pembrey. The tan wicker matches our deck perfectly, and the whole sectional feels like indoor furniture quality. Assembly was straightforward and everything fit together perfectly.

Good to know

Questions about your Pembrey sectional

The steel frames and wicker are designed to withstand outdoor conditions year-round, but we recommend storing cushions indoors during winter in cold climates. In regions with mild winters, you can leave the assembled sectional outside with a breathable furniture cover. The powder coating and UV-stabilized wicker resist rust and fading, but covered storage extends the lifespan of any outdoor furniture.

Unzip and remove the cushion covers, then machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Air-dry the covers completely before putting them back on the foam inserts. For quick spot cleaning, blot spills immediately with a damp cloth and let the fabric air-dry. The wicker frame can be cleaned with a garden hose or soapy water and a soft brush.

You only need a Phillips screwdriver to complete assembly. We include a hex key for tightening the metal connecting brackets between frame sections. Most customers finish assembly in 45 to 60 minutes. All necessary hardware, brackets, and illustrated instructions ship with the sectional.

Yes, the modular design lets you reconfigure the layout by loosening the metal brackets and reconnecting pieces in a new arrangement. You can swap the chaise to the opposite side, use the loveseat as standalone seating, or add additional Pembrey armless chairs to expand the sectional. The brackets nest into pre-drilled holes on each frame corner for easy reconfiguration.

The cushion fabric features a durable water repellent treatment and dries quickly after rain, which helps prevent mold growth. The foam cores are also treated to resist moisture absorption. In very humid climates, we recommend removing cushions during extended wet periods or ensuring they dry completely between rain events. Proper airflow and occasional cleaning keep the cushions in excellent condition.

Each seat is rated for 250 pounds. The powder-coated steel frames and reinforced wicker construction provide sturdy support for everyday use. The chaise section, while longer, maintains the same weight capacity as the other seats.

The wicker strands are UV-stabilized polyethylene resin designed to resist fading for years in direct sunlight. Unlike natural materials or surface-dyed synthetics, the color is embedded throughout the resin itself. Normal weathering may cause slight color shifts over many years, but the Pembrey holds its tan finish far better than standard outdoor wicker furniture.
