Broyhill Legacy Outdoor Furniture Collection
Our Legacy 5-piece conversation set brings resort-quality comfort to your backyard. Hand-woven all-weather wicker wraps around a powder-coated aluminum frame that resists rust and corrosion season after season.

Every piece in the Broyhill Legacy outdoor furniture collection uses hand-woven resin wicker over a powder-coated aluminum skeleton. We chose this combination because it delivers the natural texture of traditional rattan without the maintenance headaches.

Quick-dry cushion technology
Foam core engineering
Legacy cushions use open-cell polyurethane foam that releases water as fast as it absorbs it. We wrap the foam in a water-resistant inner liner, then cover everything with Sunbrella® solution-dyed acrylic fabric. Water drains through the fabric, passes around the liner, and exits through ventilated channels in the foam.
Care and cleaning
Cushion covers unzip completely for machine washing on a gentle cycle. We recommend mild detergent and air drying — no bleach or fabric softener. The foam core can be rinsed with a garden hose if needed, and it will dry to the touch within two hours in moderate humidity. For daily maintenance, simply brush off loose debris and spot-clean spills with a damp cloth.

Sizing and space planning
The Legacy 5-piece conversation set requires a footprint of approximately 10 feet by 8 feet, including clearance for walking around the coffee table. Club chairs measure 32 inches wide, so you can fit two side-by-side in a tight corner if needed.
Our sectional configurations start at 4 pieces (L-shape, roughly 7 feet per leg) and scale up to 8 pieces for wraparound seating. Each modular piece is 28 or 35 inches deep, so plan for at least 6 feet of clearance in front of the sectional for traffic flow. The dining table works best with 3 feet of clearance on all sides — that gives diners room to push chairs back without hitting walls or railings. If you’re working with a narrow balcony, consider pairing the outdoor sofa with a compact side table instead of the full conversation set.

Legacy Collection Questions
Yes, the Legacy collection is engineered for year-round outdoor exposure. The aluminum frames resist rust, the resin wicker won’t crack in freezing temperatures, and the Sunbrella cushion fabric is UV-stabilized for full sun exposure.
We do recommend storing cushions indoors during winter in climates with heavy snow or extended sub-zero temperatures — the foam will last longer with indoor storage, though it won’t be damaged by cold. Covers are optional but will reduce the frequency of cleaning and extend the life of wicker finishes in harsh coastal environments.
For routine cleaning, spray the wicker with a garden hose and wipe with a soft brush or microfiber cloth. For stubborn dirt or pollen buildup, mix mild dish soap with warm water, scrub gently with a soft-bristle brush, and rinse thoroughly.
Avoid pressure washers on high settings — they can fray wicker strands over time. Never use bleach, acetone, or abrasive cleaners, as they can discolor the resin or damage the UV-protective coating. The wicker dries to the touch within 30 minutes in moderate humidity.
Each Legacy seat — whether club chair, loveseat cushion position, or sectional module — is rated for 300 pounds. The frames are reinforced at stress points with stainless steel brackets, and we test every design with repeated static and dynamic load cycles.
The dining chairs have the same 300-pound rating. The coffee table and dining table surfaces can support up to 150 pounds of evenly distributed weight, which accommodates serving platters, centerpieces, and typical tabletop use.
Yes, the twist-lock connectors create a rigid bond between modules. Once locked, the sectional behaves as a single piece of furniture — there’s no shifting or separation when people sit or stand.
The connectors are hidden beneath the seat platform, so they don’t interfere with cushion placement. You can disconnect modules in seconds by turning the knob a quarter turn counterclockwise, which makes reconfiguring or moving the sectional simple.
Yes, we stock replacement cushion covers, foam inserts, wicker repair panels, and hardware kits for the Legacy line. You can order parts directly through our customer support team by providing your model number and describing the component you need.
Cushion covers are available in all five standard Sunbrella colorways. Lead time for in-stock parts is typically 5 to 7 business days. We maintain parts inventory for Legacy products for a minimum of 7 years after the last production run.
The dining table umbrella hole accepts standard 2-inch diameter umbrella poles. Most freestanding patio umbrellas and cantilever umbrellas with straight poles will fit.
The hole is located at the center of the table, which provides balanced shade coverage for all six seats. When you’re not using an umbrella, the included cap sits flush with the tabletop and matches the bronze finish. The cap is held in place by friction — no tools needed to install or remove it.
Legacy furniture uses the same materials and construction methods found in commercial hospitality furniture — the same wicker, cushion foam, and frame reinforcement you’d see at a resort pool deck. We focus on durability and low maintenance rather than trendy styling that dates quickly.
The main differences you’ll notice compared to big-box alternatives are thicker cushion foam, heavier-gauge aluminum frames, and hand-woven wicker instead of injection-molded panels. These details add up to furniture that looks better and lasts longer, especially in climates with temperature extremes or high UV exposure.
