Broyhill Loveseat Collection | Crafted Comfort for Every Home
The Farida brings classic American craftsmanship into modern living rooms with clean lines and a quietly tailored profile. We built this loveseat on our signature kiln-dried hardwood frame and wrapped it in performance fabric that stands up to everyday family life. The cushions use our proprietary high-resiliency foam core — designed to bounce back season after season — while gentle track arms and exposed tapered legs keep the silhouette light and inviting.

Every Broyhill loveseat begins with a kiln-dried hardwood frame — we select North American oak, poplar, and maple for their strength-to-weight ratio and mill them to exact tolerances before assembly. Corner blocks are glued and screwed into place at each joint, then reinforced with steel L-brackets on high-stress connections. This construction method, unchanged since our founding in 1926, distributes weight evenly across the frame and eliminates the squeaks and sags that plague lower-cost furniture.

Upholstery materials & care
Performance fabrics
Our standard Performance Collection uses solution-dyed polyester that resists staining at the fiber level. Spills bead on the surface rather than soaking in, and most household stains wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. These fabrics are tested to 100,000 double rubs (commercial-grade durability) and carry a three-year warranty against fading, pilling, or fraying.
Top-grain leather
Leather upgrades are available in aniline-dyed full-grain hides or semi-aniline protected finishes. Full-grain develops a rich patina over time and requires occasional conditioning; protected finishes resist moisture and everyday wear with minimal maintenance. Both are sourced from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group for environmental stewardship.

Sizing & room fit
Most of our loveseats measure between 58″ and 64″ wide — narrower than a standard sofa but still wide enough to seat two adults comfortably. Plan for at least 30″ of clearance in front of the loveseat to allow easy passage, and leave 3–6″ between the back and the wall if you want to access power outlets or tuck in floor lamps.
Doorway dimensions
Before ordering, measure your narrowest doorway, hallway turn, and stairwell. Our Metro Studio ships fully assembled at 58″ wide; the Farida and Cambridge ship with legs detached, reducing the widest dimension to under 36″. If you’re navigating tight spaces, our white-glove delivery team can remove door casings and reassemble on-site for an additional fee.

Common questions about Broyhill loveseats
Our loveseats range from 58 inches to 64 inches wide, while our full-size sofas measure 82 to 92 inches. A loveseat is designed to seat two adults comfortably and fits well in smaller rooms, apartments, or as supplemental seating alongside a larger sofa or sectional. If you’re replacing a sofa, measure your available wall space first — most loveseats need at least 66 inches of clearance to allow room for end tables.
Yes. We offer complimentary fabric swatches for up to five materials at a time. Order through our website or call customer service, and we’ll mail 4-by-6-inch samples within three business days. Leather samples are smaller (2-by-2-inch) due to material cost, but we include finish cards showing the full color range. Swatches are yours to keep for color matching with rugs, curtains, or paint.
Performance fabrics are solution-dyed, meaning color is locked into the fiber before weaving, so spills and sunlight won’t cause fading or permanent staining. They’re rated for 100,000 double rubs (commercial durability) and resist pilling, snagging, and moisture absorption. Standard upholstery fabrics are piece-dyed after weaving, which offers richer textures and a wider color palette but requires more careful maintenance. We recommend performance fabric for homes with kids, pets, or high traffic; standard fabrics for formal rooms with light use.
With normal residential use, our loveseats remain structurally sound for 15 to 25 years or longer. The hardwood frame carries a lifetime warranty, and high-resiliency foam cushions are designed to retain at least 90 percent of their original height after ten years of daily use. Upholstery lifespan depends on fabric choice and care — performance fabrics generally outlast natural fibers in high-use settings. We’ve had customers send us photos of Broyhill pieces purchased in the 1970s that are still in service after a single reupholstering.
We partner with Affirm and Synchrony to offer 6-, 12-, and 24-month financing at checkout. Qualified buyers can choose 0% APR for 12 months on orders over $999, or extended terms with promotional rates. Approval is instant in most cases, and monthly payments appear on your order confirmation before you finalize the purchase. There are no prepayment penalties if you pay off the balance early.
Customization options vary by model. The Farida and Metro Studio offer a choice of two leg finishes (walnut or espresso for Farida; black or ash for Metro) but have fixed arm profiles. The Cambridge allows you to select from three leg styles (turned bun, tapered, or block) and two arm heights (standard rolled or English rolled). Custom requests beyond our standard menu — such as nailhead trim, contrasting welts, or special-order wood stains — require a 50-piece minimum order and are typically only available to trade accounts.
White-glove service includes inside delivery to the room of your choice, full assembly, placement of the loveseat in your desired location, and removal of all packaging materials. The delivery team will make one repositioning adjustment within the same room and provide a brief walkthrough of care instructions. If you need the loveseat carried up stairs or through multiple floors, let us know at checkout so we can assign the appropriate crew size. This service does not include moving existing furniture or wall-mounting; those tasks require a separate handyman appointment.
